"...cobwebs be quiet...dust go to sleep...I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep"
Sweet Dreams portraits are usually done during the first 7-10 days of your baby's birth. While there's never a bad time to have your little one photographed, they will lose the "fetal tuck" somewhere between 10 days and two weeks. While the primary concentration will by your baby, we strongly encourage mom and dad to be in some of the portraits as well...what you order is of course up to you but you can never go back in time and have a portrait of the two of you with your baby at this age.
What to bring?
We suggest mom and dad bring both light and dark colored tops so that you "fit nicely" in the set where your baby is being photographed. We also encourage you to bring things that says something about the family your child is born into. Little props from your profession, hobby or just your favorite things...first teddy bear, special gifts from grandparents, etc. We are happy to custom design the setting for you and your baby. Because we actually want your baby to sleep through their first portrait session, feeding baby right before the start of the session is a natural way for them to doze off and have a nap while we do all the work. Whether nursing or bottle feeding, we have a comfortable room for mother and baby.
What's included?
Included in your session is your time with David & Mary Lee, your Premier viewing and twenty, two sided, birth announcements (envelopes included) for you to mail out to family and friends. Portraits are additional, and can be ordered individually or in groupings to suit your needs.
