David and his wife Mary founded our studio in 1980. David holds the degree of Master Photographer and is nationally certified. On three different occasions David has been named one of A.P.P.I.'s Top Ten Photographers In Illinois. He has twice earned best portrait in Illinois honors and is regularly included in the P.P.A. national exhibit. In 2003 he competed for the first time in the Senior Photographers International competition in Florida, placing in the top 10 nationally in 2003 & 2004 and then in 2005 won the national title in being named Photographer of The Year..  When asked what makes his portraits stand out David's response was...."first the experience...we find a way to make being photographed a fun and enjoyable experience...when you're having a good time, you look better...whether you're 5 or 75, it doesn't matter...our goal is to capture the essence of this person or group and to do that we have to get beyond the 'traditional' photographic experience. Second is that I hate doing the same thing over and over so I really enjoy the challenge of creating something new for each of my clients."
